Welcome to the Looney Bean Coffee Shop in Mazatlan, SI, Mexico!
Tom and Heidi Lonsdale came to Mazatlan in 2005, with a vision to create a gathering place for the local and seasonal residents. 
A place where people can meet, share stories, and exchange information while enjoying their favorite coffee drink or smoothie. They envisioned a cozy place that you could come to after a nice stroll along the beach, a place where you can rent a surfboard and go out to one of the best breaks in Mazatlan; a place to relax and belong.
Through their hard work and God’s faithfulness, Looney Bean Mazatlan has become much more than a coffee house. In addition to roasting and serving some of the best coffee in Mexico, we are able to serve the community around us, and visitors from around the world.
We now have two locations, one in Cerritos, at Playa Bruja, Mazatlan’s best surf break, and a second newly remodeled location in Mazatlan’s old city, on the Malecon (boardwalk) in Olas Altas. We are constantly improving our products, and enjoying every minute.
Our goal is to create a successful business that gives back to the community and reaches into the lives of the people in Mazatlan. Meanwhile, offering a place for young people from around the world to be involved in missions in a creative way, learning how to operate a small business, and to be a light for Jesus in all they do.
Our focus in sharing Jesus is simple, like Mother Theresa said, “Do small acts of kindness with great love.” Opportunities to do that are never lacking.
Come and enjoy delicious treats, comfy seating, and a great atmosphere any time of the day… If you come to the shop in Cerritos early in the morning you can catch us roasting our fresh beans and smell the aroma that will keep you coming back for more.
